You might see a familiar face around Savannah right now.
The latest issue of Savannah Magazine hits stands today, and I'm on the cover alongside an incredible group of female business owners. It's one of those moments that feels a little unexpected—seeing it on stands, while everything here at Asher + Rye is still very much in motion.
In a lot of ways, it feels like it arrived at the right time.
Joel and I have been thinking more about what we're bringing into our lives, not just how something looks, but what it's made of, how it's constructed, how it feels to wear or use every day.
That's always been a part of how we approach the shop, but lately it's felt more focused. More intentional.
That thinking has shown up most clearly in clothing.
We've been building out a more considered edit—pieces that feel personal, structured in the right way, and easy to live in. Things you don't have to think too hard about, but that still feel like your own.
Materials matter. Craftsmanship matters. And so does how something holds up over time.
But it's never been just about clothing.
The way you get dressed, the way you set a table, the products you bring into your home, it's all connected. It's a cycle. And over time, it starts to shape how you move through your day.
That's something we've been coming back to more and more.
In a lot of ways, it feels like Joel and I are just getting started with Asher + Rye.
Five years in, things feel more aligned. The point of view is clearer, and the business is moving in a way that feels natural.
We've also learned to step into things before we feel entirely ready—the café, especially. We didn't have it all figured out when we opened our doors. We just knew we wanted it to exist. Over time, it became something we're really proud of.
That experience has changed how we think about everything. We're more considered now. About what we bring in, how we tell the story, and how all the pieces fit together.
And we're starting to look ahead. A new concept, a new location—ideas we're exploring quietly. Nothing forced. Just the next step, with a lot of energy behind it.
To that point, we recently finalized something that's been sitting with us for a while:

It feels like a reflection of where we are now, and where we're going.
