Natural metals will oxidize over time. With copper this is usually a desired effect but with brass, silver and bronze it may not be. Here are some tips on keeping your pieces looking new.

+ Wear your silver often. The skins natural oils help protect the metal.
+ Remove your jewelry when cleaning or in chlorinated water.
+ Store your pieces in a cool dry place away from moisture.
Some of the work is intentionally oxidized. Using a jewelry cloth on these pieces will remove the patina.
It is best to put jewelry on AFTER make up, hair spray, perfume, creams etc. to avoid staining a.d store in a clean dry place.
